O I hope he's taking lots of pictures! What I've seen of Thailand is just beautiful!! It will fly by, honey, and he'll be home in no time.

Found this on Tumblr, I've been waiting for it for a while now, he had put it in his queue on Tumble.
"I don’t know where ill be around this time seeing as I’m writing this a week earlier than the actual date this will be posted. As I am in Thailand I hope i get to see the world from a different perspective. I know that ill be able to make a difference if i just try hard enough. By this time i already know that I’m going to miss the people that are close to my heart. I hope I am missed~. Ill most likely be in Mae Sot around this time starting the life camps for the children that lost their parents from the war in Burma. When listening to these kids it makes my problems seem insignificant to theirs. I hope that I can make a difference in these children lives. They have so little and yet i have so much. Whats strange is that these kids are ever so happy. In fact they are so happy it shocks me a bit despite their circumstances.
I hope everyone is doing alright in Canada, I already miss you Alysha. Enjoy reading your books, hanging out with friends. It will be a while before i get to see your beautiful face. I can already imagine it now~
Back to serving the kids, they really enjoy soccer~ i don’t even stand a chance haha!"

I believe this is a photo of two children from Mae Sot, with Daniel bringing a bunch of rocks to prepare cement. It will be used to complete the installation of a water filtration system if I understand correctly. These people are doing some amazing things.

He's just on a trip with his class to Thailand, different group are doing different things. c: As far as I know right know his group (Group C) is helping to complete a water filtration system.

I know what he is doing is wonderful, so it makes his absence bearable, they need him more than I do.
I will see if I can find a photo of us together, I always look awful in photographs, then he looks great!

I hope to see Anne of Green Gables at summer's end but I just don't know. May get to visit my cousin in the Big city too. And then spend my time taking pictures of old cemeteries. It is my favorite hobby!! I call it "Digging up Bones" aka genealogy. My ancestors may have been on the Mayflower. Still not sure the name John was and is too popular!!

Day surgery Tomorrow morning. they had a cancellation so I am going to have a scope of my stomach done at 8:30 am in a Hospital 1 hour from here. So I will be off to bed now. Then sleeping most of tomorrow. If everything goes OK I should be back on late tomorrow night.

95% chance of raining on my parade tomorrow. My therapist has been wanting me in the hospital for a mental vacation for awhile now. Even though all of you give me something to look forward to everyday I may need a break. I hope it won't be for too long. Last time it was 5 weeks but I was on new meds then. I feel it will probably be for the best but I shall miss you all terribly!!
