five letter word riddle for August

will start this thread August 1st.

Rules:
1. Each month the length of the word may change, so check before you enter a guess. I do not remind... if say, July's riddles are 6 letters and not 5 letter words
2. You can subit each day or send submit all your guesses at once, if you want
3. Two or more people can guess the same word.
4. Riddles will be run Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, answers posted as soon as I can the next day....might be at midnight or it could be 10 am, depends if I am up or not...so please be patient
5. 10 Points awarded for guessing correctly each day, 100 points for guessing the most right each week and 500 points for guessing the most correct in a month
6. Can submit one answer per day and once submitted can not change the answer.
7. Person guessing the most correct, also wil be sent a special reward too

August 1st Riddle: Animal(s) found on a farm
Answer: Horse - no one guessed so no points

August 3rd Riddle: Something a baby plays with or needs
Answer: Socks - no one guessed the answer

August 6th Riddle: Item in a refidgerator
Answer: Juice - Orilla got it

August 8th Riddle: A Spice
Answer: Clove - no one got it

August 10th Riddle: A Fruit
Answer: Apple - Orilla got it right

August 13th Riddle: Something found in deep space
Answer: Comet - nobody got it right

August 15th Riddle: Something found in an ocean
Answer: shark - orilla got it

August 17th Riddle: Something found in a restaurant
answer: chair - nobody got it

August 20th Riddle: Something used when fishing
answer: lures - Rhonder got it

Note: Sorry I was late on the 20th answer. Had a lot going on Tuesday and on Wednesday. Got to see President Obama on the 22nd while he spoke in North Las Vegas - Even got to shake his hand!!!!!

August 22nd Riddle: Something found in or around a car
answer: light - Rhonder got it

Augsut 24th Riddle: Something found in a bathroom
answer: Scale - Orilla got it

August 27th Riddle: Something found in the living room
answer: Chair - nobody got it

August 29th Riddle: Somthing found in at a picnic
answer: Salad - rhonder and orilla both got it

August 31st Riddle: Something found on street
answer: taxis - Rhonder got it

total for August - tie between Rhonder and orilla
will be sending results to our leader

everyone can see th answers that you submit here. just like you did your questions. I turn the daily winners and the top winner into our leader and she will give points. We discussed all this when was to have a link to a petpage put on the guild page ovr a month ago. I just decided ot put here instead.

you must answer before the date I am posting the answer for. today I am posting the answer for the first of August, normally I would have done it on the second, but this week is kind of hectic as having a arbecue on sat at 5-7 pm for Obama's bday.
